Overview
Our Reverse Proxy service consists of a distributed network of servers spread across the globe. To point your domain to our proxy network, you need to change the nameservers of your domain and then create a smart DNS record that directs traffic to our servers. This guide will walk you through the process of configuring your domain correctly.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Change the nameservers of your Domain
This step varies depending on where you registered your domain. If you registered the domain with us, you're probably already using our nameservers, and you don't need to do anything else.
If your domain is registered with a different provider, you'll need to log in to their management interface and change the domain's nameservers to the following ones:
ns1.lyratris.net
ns2.lyratris.net
ns3.lyratris.net
ns4.lyratris.net
ns5.lyratris.net
If you encounter any issues with this, feel free to reach out to us. We're happy to help and guide you through the process.
2. Point your DNS to the Reverse Proxy
Once your domain is using our nameservers, the Reverse Proxy can create what are called smart records.
These records direct your visitors to the nearest available server, reducing latency and improving performance.
To create this record, simply click the "Create DNS Record" button in the Reverse Proxy management interface.
3. SSL Certificate Configuration
Once your DNS records are set up correctly, the system will automatically request an SSL certificate for your domains. This process may take up to 10 minutes to complete. During this time, the system will validate the domain ownership and generate the SSL certificate needed for secure connections.
