As a company, we have always believed in the power of a decentralized internet run by many small players. It’s one of the core principles that keep the internet open, free, and stable.
For a long time, we’ve used Let's Encrypt certificates for our services. The Let's Encrypt project has been a fantastic resource for internet security. However, as they’ve grown (issuing over 8 million certificates a day!), we felt it was time to consider a more independent path for our services.
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve partnered with Actalis, one of Italy’s top certificate authorities with over 20 years of experience. They’re a fully independent CA (Certificate Authority), which aligns with our commitment to a less centralized internet.
From now on, all our services, including Reverse Proxy, Web Hosting, and Email Hosting, will come with free SSL certificates from Actalis. And in the near future, we’ll be adding DV and OV certificates to our portfolio.
